Construction Teamsters Apprenticeship Fund for Southern California will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information or  because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older.  In particular, no apprentice or applicant for apprenticeship shall be subjected to discrimination or harassment on the basis of sex, ethic group identification, race, national origin, religion, color, mental or physical disability, ancestry, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status or any actual or perceived characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Section 422.55 of the California Penal Code or the Fair Employment and Housing Act in any program or activity conducted by Construction Teamsters Apprenticeship Fund for Southern California.  Construction Teamsters Apprenticeship Fund for Southern California will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity in apprenticeship and will operate apprenticeship programs as required under Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations, part 30.”
